1. Information We Collect
When you use BoxTrace, we collect your email address for account creation and authentication via Google Firebase. Your inventory data, scanned products, pricing, and profit tracking information are stored securely in your private database.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used strictly to provide you with the BoxTrace point-of-sale services. This includes generating secure encrypted QR codes, calculating total billing, tracking profit margins, and synchronizing your scan history across authorized devices (like your remote scanners).
3. Data Security & Encryption
We implement advanced security measures to protect your data. Your QR codes are generated using high-level AES encryption, meaning third-party scanners cannot read your actual costs or minimum prices. All cloud data is protected by strict Firebase Security Rules.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or business data with any third parties. Your business data is completely private and accessible only by you and the scanner devices you explicitly authorize.
5. Your Rights
You maintain full ownership of your data. You have the right to clear your scan history, delete individual items, or update your profile information at any time directly through the app dashboard.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the BoxTrace application, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.
2. Use License
BoxTrace grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for your business inventory tracking and billing. You may not reverse engineer, duplicate, or attempt to extract the source code of the software.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and remote Scanner ID. BoxTrace is not responsible for unauthorized access to your store dashboard resulting from shared credentials.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The materials on BoxTrace are provided on an 'as is' basis. Alticrux makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BoxTrace or its developers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the BoxTrace software, even if notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
